    The Story of the photograph:  


    A Sifaka Lemur poses beautifully while holding on to a bamboo tree in the Anjajavy Forest located in north-west Madagascar. Lemurs in Madagascar have been under pressure from deforestation, poaching, drought and other challenges for years. All species of Sifaka Lemurs are threatened, ranging from vulnerable to critically endangered.
