Beautiful red fox, winter in eastern Canada. Red foxes have thick warm winter coats that help them endure Canada’s harsh winter.
About the photographer
By: Brittany Crossman
She is a wildlife & nature photographer based out of New Brunswick, Canada. Over the last decade, she has photographed many different species, but the red fox holds a special place in her heart. She believes that visual storytelling is an essential component to promoting coexistence with urban wildlife, and eliminating some of that misdirected fear that comes especially with predatory animals. Any animal that can successfully live alongside of humans deserves to have their story told, for it is a remarkable feat. Brittany’s work aims to foster a connection to nature by capturing intimate moments, bringing viewers closer to the lives of these animals.
