Sossusvlei Sand Dunes
  • Sossusvlei Sand Dunes

    The Story of the photograph:

This photo was taken in the Namib-Naukluft National Park of Namibia. The sand in the region is given its distinctive red color from the layer of iron oxide which coats it. A variety of different animal species can be found roaming these sand dunes, including antelopes, ostriches, rodents and birds.
